Queensland was Australia’s largest food and beverage manufacturing exporter in 2015-16, accounting for 28 per cent of the nation’s exports, just ahead of Victoria at 27 per cent, according to the latest Australian Food and Grocery Council’s State of the Industry report.

Based on ABS data, the ninth annual report provides a detailed overview and analysis of Australia’s $127 billion food, beverage and grocery manufacturing sector including national data relating to turnover, international trade and value adding.
