BECOME A MENTEE

Brief Mentoring Program Overview

You will be paired with a mentor with experience in the field you have requested mentoring in. The program includes six one-hour meetings to receive guidance and expertise. Meetings are typically held every 2–3 weeks, with the goal of completing the program within 5 months. The maximum duration for completing the program is 12 months.

Meeting Structure

Meetings will be one-on-one and can be held in person, online, or by phone, as agreed upon by you and your mentor.

Program Responsibilities

As a mentee, you are expected to:

  • Prepare diligently for meetings with your mentor.
  • Conduct yourself professionally at all times during the program.
  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in the professional growth and development.
  • Show commitment to FIAQ and the mentoring program.
  • Complete and submit mentoring reports as required.

  • FIAQ and its representatives act only as facilitators for the program and are not liable for the conduct of participants.

Involvement of Your Manager

To ensure that the mentoring program brings value to your employer and supports your professional growth in alignment with workplace goals, we encourage the involvement of your current manager. Your manager’s input can help us tailor the mentoring experience to your needs, and their feedback will help assess how the program has contributed to your performance.
