Professor Ryan Ko is the Chair and Director of UQ Cyber at the University of Queensland, Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) with Honours and a PhD from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, Professor Ko has held senior leadership roles and served on various boards and advisory committees across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the USA. His research focuses on cybersecurity, cloud data provenance, and cyber-physical systems security. At UQ, he has been instrumental in establishing interdisciplinary cybersecurity programs and research centers, contributing significantly to advancing cybersecurity education and research.
