Elevating Queensland’s Food Industry

Uniting, Innovating, and Savoring Success!

Queensland Government Logo

This project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through its VET Emerging Industries initiative.
To be eligible to participate in this pilot program, you must be currently employed in the food manufacturing industry in Queensland and be Australian citizen or permanent resident. The below skill set training programs are currently fully funded and free for your employer.

Skill Development and Mentoring Programs

Under the current VET scheme, the state government funds qualifications up to Certificate III in Food Processing. Based on our industry consultations, we discovered that the existing workforce lacked several skills and have been fortunate to secure government funding for the development and delivery of a partial qualification of Certificate IV in Food Processing FBP 40321.

If the pilot program proves successful, the government may provide further funding.

We have developed the following two skill sets, consisting of three units each.
