Opened in July 2025, Suntory’s Swanbank facility represents a landmark four hundred million dollar investment, the company’s first manufacturing site in Australia and the largest FMCG project in a decade.

From breaking ground in 2022 to full automation in 2024, the site reflects outstanding teamwork and innovation and now employs 160 local staff.

Guided by Suntory’s values of harmony, growth, and sustainability, the Swanbank facility is carbon neutral for Scope 1 and 2 and is powered by seven thousand solar panels, a biomass boiler, waste heat recovery, and renewable electricity supplied by CleanCo. Suntory also supports the community through local employment, partnerships, and the Mizuiku water education program delivered with Earthwatch Australia.

The Swanbank facility stands as a model of innovation, sustainability, and community impact and is a deserving FIAQ Award finalist.
